Can We Really Achieve Immortality Without God? CNBC Interviews De Grey To Learn
At this year’s Exponential Medicine conference, CNBC was present to probe faculty about some of the exciting developments within accelerating technologies. One of the most eye-opening speakers is Aubrey de Grey, cofounder and Chief Science Officer of the SENS Research Foundation, who was interviewed about longevity and the prospect of regenerative medicine extending our lives to 1,000 years or more. As he states in the interview, longevity really means, “We’re going to be extending the period of life that we now consider ‘youthful’.” Dr. de Grey has been a long-time advocate for longevity research, as he has frequently discussed at Singularity University’s Graduate Studies Program. Now on stage at the conference, he explained how his seven factors that contribute to aging seem to be standing the test of time, even as more research on aging continues to unfold.

If They Can Do This To Animals, They Can Do It To Humans: Mind-Control Device Lets Researchers “Alter Genetics” In Mice Through Power Of Thought
Scientists have created a mind-control system that allows a person to alter the genes in a mouse through the power of thought alone. The approach fuses the latest advances in cybernetics with those in synthetic biology by connecting a wireless headset that monitors brainwaves to an implant in the mouse that can change the rodent’s genes. A person wearing the device could alter how much protein was made from a gene in the mouse by changing his or her state of mind from concentrating to relaxed or vice-versa. With practice, volunteers found that they could turn the gene on or off in the mouse at will, and thereby raise or lower the levels of protein circulating in the animal’s blood system.

Major “Christian” Publishing House To Change Organization Structure So It Can Continue Publishing Pro-LGBT Propaganda Without Hearing Born-Again Believers’ Criticisms
The Crown Publishing Group announced in early November it would separate the staff and operations of WaterBrook Multnomah, which publishes books by evangelical authors, and Convergent, an imprint that allows for more liberal theology. This past spring, Convergent published God and the Gay Christian by Matthew Vines, which argues against the sinfulness of homosexuality. The book cost Waterbrook Multnomah the trust of many in Christian publishing and membership in the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB). WaterBrook Multnomah and Convergent share staff and operate under the same corporate umbrella. The NRB wanted Multnomah to promise no one on its staff would work on a Convergent book, which it would not do…

Disney Airing Curse Words On Popular Children’s Shows
Disney Channel is officially allowing profanity in its programming. During a recent episode of Doc McStuffins, the dino stuffed animal used profanity purposely placed immediately before a sneeze so it would not be as noticeable. But you can still hear it. One Million Moms is certainly outraged and appalled by the curse words in Doc McStuffins, an animated program that was, until now, clean and family-friendly. The mom activist group reports that Doc McStuffins includes curse words and bleeps to cover up foul language during this cartoon. “Disney Channel has questionable content at times, especially when it portrays kids showing disrespect towards parents and adults,” the group contends. “However, many still consider, or at least hope, it is a family-friendly channel since it is a network created for children, particularly the Disney Junior division, which is primarily for preschoolers.”

Tony “The Tiger” Wants Kids To Join LGBT Agenda
From the company: “At Kellogg, we’re an evolving culture that respects and accepts employees’ sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression so that all employees can be authentic and fully engaged.”According to the Human Rights Campaign website, maker of the beloved Frosted Flakes and corporate giant Kellogg’s scores a perfect 100% in the workplace when it comes to issues favored by the LGBT Movement. Last month, they were also a corporate sponsor of the Atlanta Gay Pride March and festival. The above ad was taken from the American Family Association’s Facebook page. It won’t be long before LGBT-themed messages and promotions begin appearing on the back of your children’s cereal boxes. Since they cannot replicate, they must indoctrinate, and recruiting of children always seems to be about the best place to start.

Up Next? Legal Justification For Bestiality, Human Marriage With Animals, ‘Other Species’

Just days after the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the right of states to define marriage as one man and one woman, the 5th U.S. Circuit Court is being urged to affirm the decision, because if it doesn’t, states might not even be able to regulate the “species” of marriage partners. “If ‘marriage’ means fulfilling one’s personal choices regarding intimacy, as the appellants insist, it is difficult to see how states could regulate marriage on any basis,” said a friend-of-the-court brief filed in a Louisiana case. “If personal autonomy is the essence of marriage, then not only gender, but also number, familial relationship, and even species are insupportable limits on that principal and they all will fall. This is not just a slippery slope on which the appellants wish to set us, it is a bottomless pit into which they desire to throw us. It is clearly within a state’s right to define marriage between a man and a woman but when that…

More On Petrus Romanus’ Rejection Of Creationists And The Gnostic Demiurge
I am grateful to Joel Watts for pointing out the original Italian text of something that the Pope recently said, which had puzzled me in the English translations I had encountered. Here is a translation: “God is not a demiurge or magician, but the Creator who gives existence to all entities. The beginning of the world is not the work of chaos which owes its origin to another, but rather it derives directly from a supreme Principle which creates out of love. The Big Bang, which today is posited as the origin of the world, does not contradict the creative divine intervention, but rather requires it.” And so the Pope is clearly thinking of the God depicted by various anti-science creationists, including the Intelligent Design folks as well as young-earth creationists.

Petrus Romanus Acknowledges Efforts For Global Unified Superchurch Made Up Of Catholics And Evangelicals
The Holy Father frankly acknowledged the presence of divisions among Christians “from the beginning,” and noted that “rivalries and conflicts” continue between Christian communities. “Such situations,” he said, “weaken our capacity to fulfil the command of the Lord to preach the Gospel to all nations.” Christians would be able to better proclaim the Gospel if they could overcome their differences so that, together, they might spread the Word of God and witness to Christian charity. Pope Francis said he was pleased to learn of efforts in various countries to build better relations between Catholic and Evangelicals. He pointed especially to the work of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity and the Theological Commission of the World Evangelical Alliance. The Holy Father also expressed his hope that a joint document…

US Bishops Struggling Under Petrus Romanus’ “Blood On The Altar” Pro-Days Of Lot LGBT Pontificate
U.S. Roman Catholic bishops are gathering at a moment of turbulence for them and the American church, as Pope Francis moves toward crafting new policies for carrying out his LGBT mission – a prospect that has conservative Catholics and some bishops in an uproar. The assembly, which starts Monday in Baltimore, comes less than a month after Francis ended a dramatic Vatican meeting on how the church can more compassionately minister to Catholic families. The gathering in Rome was only a prelude to a larger meeting next year which will more concretely advise Francis on church practice. Still, the open debate at the event, and the back and forth among bishops over welcoming gays and divorced Catholics who remarry, prompted stunning criticism from some U.S. bishops.

Petrus Romanus Signals What Side Of “Blood On The Altar” War He Will Be On — Demotes Cardinal Raymond L. Burke For Resisting His LGBT Agenda, Holding Conservative Views

Cardinal Raymond L. Burke, a high-ranking Vatican Cardinal, was relegated by Pope Francis from his position of overseer of the highest judicial authority in the Roman Catholic Church, second only to the supreme ecclesiastical judge of the Pope himself, to a no-responsibility figurehead position running a charity. Suggested as being at the heart of the move is the Cardinal’s strong, conservative views, especially in opposition to gay rights and abortion. Calling Cardinal Burke “hardly one of the Pope’s favorites,” the Columbus Dispatch on Nov. 9 said the Argentine pontiff and Holy Father reduced Burke to a “ceremonial position of chaplain for the Knights of Malta, a charity group.” Burke previously served as the Cardinal Prefect of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura. Burke has been in the Pope’s peripheral for…
